Role Overview:
Working within the Council’s HR Systems Team, you will support the work of the HR and OD service to provide advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of the HR and Payroll system, iTrent, and provide administrative support in relation to system developments and statutory returns.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the maintenance of the corporate establishment including creating new positions, undertaking periodic cleansing and undertaking other establishment changes within iTrent.
Using your excellent communication and organisational skills, you will manage the HR Systems email inboxes, ensuring queries are responded to within a timely and effective manner and issues are escalated appropriately.
You will provide administrative support with statutory returns and the creation of user guides to support colleagues across the organisation and external partners.
Key Requirements:
An important part of this role is the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers and external partners therefore excellent customer service skills are essential along with the ability to manage your time effectively to meet regular deadlines.
You should have good analytical skills to investigate and identify system issues as well as interpret data and other information.
It is essential that you have experience of using computer packages for word processing, spreadsheets and databases, plus using the internet and sending/receiving emails.
