In this newly created role of People Systems & Insight Lead with a leading London-based University, your focus will be on employee related research whilst also playing a key role in ensuring that HR systems and processes work effectively. As well as creating data insight development work, you'll be responsible for collecting and analysing all workforce data, highlighting the challenges involved and tracking progress. You'll liaise with HR colleagues and other key stakeholders to identify what tactical, strategic and operational information is needed, analyse business requirements and propose solutions. You will also develop complex modelling that helps the organisation maximise its investment in people, and much more besides.
To be considered you will require:
* Proven experience in a similar role with reporting experience, gained within an HR function
* Exposure to and understanding of HR Reporting analytics, data management principles and GDPR
* High level of IT literacy and skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel including the production of charts, statistical data, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to gather complex data and translate into a format that is both relevant and easy to understand for the target audience
* Sound knowledge of data governance for the purpose of defining and documenting data definitions and identifying downstream impacts of HR data changes, often in collaboration with Finance and IT.
* Experience of analytical and data visualisation tools e.g., Tableau, Power BI
* Experience with iTrent would be desirable
