IT Project Manager – Manchester / hybrid

Position: IT Project Manager
Location: Manchester, hybrid 2 days a week in office.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Interesting mix of projects: The projects tend to varied between IT Infrastructure, including moving to a Cloud-based architecture, plus upgrading Business Systems with D365 ERP being deployed and upgrades to Finance, CRM and HR platforms as well. You’ll also support the delivery of associated Business Change projects.
What is required from you?
We're seeking candidates with a solid background in managing a variety of IT, Business Systems & Business Change projects. We need broad knowledge of tech, plus experience of getting effective delivery from both in-house teams and in particular, external vendors.
The client look for solutions-focused individuals that relish tackling problems, that can communicate effectively with others as you’ll be working as part of a PMO function, and you’ll be great and managing a project budget and sticking to it!
When you apply we’ll be looking for evidence of:-
Leading and managing a broad portfolio of IT projects,
Good stories of ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Examples of how you’ve collaborated with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Developed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to effectively execute project tasks.
Monitored project progress, identified risks, and implemented mitigation strategies to ensure those successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing IT, Business Systems & Business Change projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP certification would be advantageous.
