About the role

 The Inside Sales Director will be responsible for driving the Inside sales organization to the next level, in order to optimize our coverage of customers through field and remote roles. The function of this role is to ensure that financial commitments are delivered, that strategy for this GTM is clarified and that tools, processes, expertise and capability development of the centrally managed Inside Sales operations are continuously improved. This role reports into the Vice President for HS&P & Inside Sales, EMEA.

 

About  the Key Responsibilities

 Strategic planning and design

  • Ability to discuss strategic implications of design and model options for Inside Sales with business stakeholders
  • Innovate and adapt the Inside Sales model for multiple and diverse business needs, and structure this through Strat plan and AOP process

Business Partnership with division

  • Create strong partnership with divisions to identify and operationalize business cases
  • Oversee the commercial framework of Inside Sales territories (incl. customer mapping, customer engagement planning)

Reporting

  • Reporting results and achievements to divisional leadership team and Senior leadership teams

Financial performance of Inside Sales organization

  • Ensure Inside Sales organization delivers on its financial commitments
  • Foster team motivation and run performance review meetings at appropriate cadence
  • Own Inside Sales organization shadow P&L

 People management

  • Coaching of Inside Sales Supervisors/Managers
  • Promote development of Inside Sales reps within organization, and run appropriate people review processes

 Infrastructure and Technology

  • Provide guidance on best in class in tools, infrastructure and technology to support excellence in Inside sales organization
  • Drive implementation and adoption of the technology platforms

 

About the profile: 

  • Higher education degree
  • Previous experience in Inside Sales / virtual sales / telesales capacity is highly desirable, preferably in a regulated environment as in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical.
  • Strong experience in leading/managing/developing teams
  • Proven commercial experience as manager or director and strong sales leadership skills
  • Strong strategic abilities with a good execution focus
  • Multiple, diverse stakeholder management abilities, with excellent influencing skills. Experience of working in a matricial environment
  • Experience in building business cases and proposals
  • Ability to work with and manage cross-cultural teams
  • Ability to drive results and be tenacious
  • Fluency in English
