Job Description
The primary responsibility for the International Channel Manager will be to manage and develop the existing channel partners, whilst identifying new partners/opportunities across the European region.
Further responsibilities include:-
- Managing a small team across Europe to help achieve corporate objectives.
- Evaluating current relationships and recruiting new partners that enables the organisation to maximise new sales opportunities in new sectors and new regions.
- Playing a pivotal role in supporting channel partners with training, marketing and necessary information to enable them to be equipped with the right tools and knowledge to succeed in their respective markets.
- Formalise agreements to ensure expectations are managed and adhered to.
- Working to closely with the Wider Management Team in building and executing local strategies to capitalise on sales opportunities.
- Staying abreast of market trends and activity to enhance/maintain competitive edge within the marketplace.
- Budgeting and forecasting accurately to achieve both personal and team revenue numbers.
The Successful Applicant
The successful International Channel Manager will:-
- Have a demonstrable, successful commercial background operating across an international landscape.
- Have experience in managing/working with channel partners/distributors.
- Preferably have a background in selling capital equipment and technical solutions.
- Be a self starter, enthusiastic and driven individual who leads from the front.
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels both internally and externally.
- Be analytical in their approach, confident in reporting back at board level.
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to manage a sales team.
- Possess strong project management skills and prioritise effectively.
- Be able to travel as and when required across the assigned region.
