As a Barclays Investments Business Strategy Specialist, you will be an influential member of the Investments Chief of Staff team, working collaboratively with the Investments Leadership team, Finance, Distribution and Sales Management globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be creating Investments Business Strategy presentations that include the design/implementation of strategic growth initiatives, performance reviews, competitor benchmarking, facilitation of internal Investment KPI reviews and performing ad-hoc customised analysis.

- Being responsible for gathering and evaluating information, formulating and testing hypotheses, as well as developing and communicating recommendations
- Producing periodic gap analysis across Investment peers, proposing solutions and monitoring trends for strategic decision-making and collateral management meetings
- Coordinating written and well-presented support to team in preparation for monthly and quarterly business reviews/leadership meetings/external meetings/internal town halls
- Directing a multitude of key data sources to derive solid visuals and dashboards for Senior Management
- Being responsible for the ownership of KPIs to monitor business goals and proposing required management actions
- Owning strategic hiring plans and headcount through data insights and metrics
- Collaborating with the Investments leadership team, finance business partners, Investments Chief of Staff and Sales Heads to present and deliver effective presentations
- Supporting Chief of Staff with all reporting and management needs including product deep dives, Monthly Business Reviews and Opportunity Analysis
- Strategy consulting experience with Consulting firms
- Expert in MS Excel including VBA, PowerPoint presentations, writing reports and designing storyboards
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with experience in running workshops for information gathering at senior level
- Excellent understanding of financial reports and data analysis combined with programming skills/Salesforce, Sales Analytics
- Detailed industry knowledge and understanding with ability to navigate the competitor landscape in order to understand and contribute to the strategic Investment priorities
- Persuasive communication skills to successfully influence internal and external stakeholders, through excellent technical knowledge and staying current with technical developments
