The Income and Invoice Officer will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, as well as managing income records for a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Lancashire.

Description

The responsibilities of an Invoice Officer will include, but not limited too;

• Accurately prepare and process invoices in a timely manner.
• Manage income records and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Liaise with relevant departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Liaise with internal and external client regarding invoice processing.
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on various finance projects.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Profile

A successful Invoice Officer should have:

• A solid educational background in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in invoice processing and income management.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to commute to Lancashire.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to the values of the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
