The Infrastructure and Architecture team at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to recruit a Senior Manager to manage the Infrastructure Team. Ensuring the day-to-day operation and availability of the Council’s ICT systems in a secure, compliant, and efficient manner. 

As a Senior Manager, you will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and an experienced practitioner working with and managing multi-disciplined teams. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment delivering against objectives. You will have a varied workload, be an excellent communicator and be flexible in your style and approach to delivery. 

You will work as part of the management team within the Infrastructure and Architecture service, reporting to the Service Manager for Infrastructure and Architecture within Digital Services.

Currently, a flexible working model is in place which offers a combination of home working and office-based working within Rotherham, alongside a generous holiday entitlement and a range of workforce benefits.

Due to the nature of ICT work, emergencies, delays, breakdowns, or arrears of work can arise. You must be prepared to meet these demands and perform any extra duties or attendance as may be necessary in normal circumstances or as described in any emergency plans.
