1st Line Support – Permanent – Belfast – c£25,000 per annum: Graduates welcome
REED are pleased to announce a collaboration with a managed service provider based in Belfast with the recruitment of a Level 1 Support engineer. This is an organisation that aims to provide a high quality service to its customers, with a wide client base of small companies to large multi nationals. Due to growth they are looking to add to their fast paced and diligent team of first line Support Engineers.
Duties
• Efficient resolution of first line technical issues remotely via phone or ticketing system
• Triage for resolution or escalation of issues
• Installation and maintenance of computers, printers, network related equipment for all clients.
• Potential working on client sites
Job Criteria
• Previous experience in an IT environment
• Windows 7 & windows 10 operating systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Products
• Basic Windows Troubleshooting Skills
Personal Spec
• Good personal & communication skills with the ability to establish working relationships
• Liaise with individuals both internally & externally at all levels.
• Ability to work in a team and on their own initiative with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
• Ability to explain technical issues in “layman’s tongue”.
• Commitment to ongoing development
