As a Senior PR Officer you will be supporting the Global JLR Manager bringing JLR’s transformation to life for our audiences, showcasing the delivery of our strategy, through the creation and delivery of compelling content for use across our owned channels and with earned media.
You will be creating assets to support the strategies and content plan for company-owned corporate channels (corporate social media and the JLR Corporate website) plus leadership channels.
You'll also be responsible for the following:
- Creating and delivering the day-to-day social posting plan and content promoting our modern luxury vision.
- Building close relationships with the Creative function & JLR Corporate Identity owners to ensure the latest creative thinking on Modern Luxury is considered and applied to corporate assets.
- Supporting the delivery of a broad and varied content plan that enables the delivery of our external corporate communications strategy and the corporate Press Office.
- Identifying and creating compelling stories, crafting messages and producing creative and clear content to support the delivery of key communication campaigns to bring the Reimagine strategy to life for our external audiences.
- Identifying and creating corporate social media (currently via LinkedIn & X) ensuring high-quality content is shared to promote JLR’s Reimagine strategy.
- Developing opportunities to enhance and improve existing communication channels.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:
- You will have proven experience in both social media and content production including the software, tools and techniques required. This will be evidenced by a strong portfolio of social activation and creative content examples.
- Have a good understanding of graphic design and visual asset production along with the ability to evaluate and improve future content based on performance analytics.
- Be an exceptional, creative storyteller.
- Possess demonstrable ability to make the complex simple: producing communications and content which are relevant and comprehensive for all.
- Be commercially astute.
