Key Account Manager - Software solution for the sports and fitness industry
Basic salary between £30,000 and £35,000 with OTE of £60,000 + benefits
Location can be flexible in the UK
My client is a market leading provider of specialist software for the leisure and fitness industry. They currently have a rare opportunity to join their sales team in a role managing relationships with their top 20 customers throughout the UK. The Role:

• This is a home based role managing the top 20 accounts for this niche software provider. These accounts are mostly large gym groups or leisure providers with sites throughout the UK.
• The key objectives are to retain those customers and identify and develop opportunities for growth and up selling within them.
• You'll spend time understanding the client's vision, profile and 5 year plan and working with them to help them achieve that through the best use of the software solutions they currently have and any additional modules that could support those plans.
• It can be quite a strategic role, building relationships with multiple levels of decision maker both at head office level and at each individual site.

The Person:

• We're looking for someone who has a great track record in account management, preferably at a senior level and can build strategic and long lasting relationships.
• You'll still be sales focused but with the long term opportunity in mind
• Ideally you'll have 2 years + software sales experience and have a real interest and passion for health and fitness. Alternatively you could have sales experience selling into the fitness sector but a different type of product or be an outstanding Account Manager in a different industry but be an avid gym and fitness fan.
• It's essential that you have a full UK driving license and your own vehicle.
• Great communication skills and organisation skills are essential and you'll be driven and motivated to succeed.

The Package:

• A basic salary between £30,000 and £35,000 is available depending on experience
• On target earnings of £50,000 - £60,000 are achievable
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
