We want to be the water company people want to be supplied by and want to work for.
As a Laboratory Commercial Admin Assistant, you’ll take up an important role within our water quality team to provide assistance to the Laboratory Commercial development manager and support services team. You will take over the day-to-day administrative duties and also assist with basic duties in our Laboratory Services department.
In this role, you’ll ensure that samples are processed efficiently and in a timely manner on internal systems. You’ll also speak to customers and communicate their needs to key staff when required. Your excellent organisation skills and attention to detail will ensure customer information is updated and maintained on our customer relationship database.
Your proficiency in Microsoft Office will allow you to create and work with documents and carry out administrative duties as required. The team may need you to carry out ad-hoc tasks for them as well, so a good working knowledge of IT in general will be useful.
Ideally, you’ll be local to Hampshire or within travelling distance to our Farnborough laboratory. You’ll have a full driving license and show flexibility with occasional changes to workloads. For example, you may be asked to cover sample collection and courier duties. This is your chance to join a friendly, busy and supportive team that ensures the water used by our communities remains safe and clean.
