Role Insights: Where You Make an Impact
As the Lead Product Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of products developed by the organisation's teams. Your senior management position involves framing problems, setting priorities, and managing teams to build outstanding products and services aligned with user needs. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, digital and data teams, and policy designers to enhance existing products and design new ones. Your focus on user needs will inspire others to do the same, and your role extends to identifying key priorities and expertise required for successful project delivery.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Create an environment for the team's success, implementing innovative ways of working.
- Define and lead change within the Organisation, coaching others in best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, applying insights from other sectors to drive innovation in the Organisation.
- Demonstrate expertise in agile working, leading complex product families, and communicating effectively at all levels.
- Work collaboratively with design and delivery teams throughout the product life cycle.
- Apply experience across the product life cycle, from discovery to support and maintenance.
- Providing direction on tools/methods for obtaining insights across an organisation.
- Meeting user needs across various channels.
- Monitoring and adapting to changing user needs over time.
- Applying strategic thinking to deliver the best service for end-users within an organisation.
- Giving direction on which tools or methods to use to get the insight required for teams across an organisation.
- Meeting the needs of users across a variety of channels.
- Bringing insight and expertise in how to monitor user needs and how they change over time to ensure these are met by the business.
- Applying strategic thinking in how to provide the best service for the end-user, regardless of where this sits within an organisation.
Experience required:
- Coaching and leading teams in agile practices, determining the right approach for the team.
- Influencing, challenging, and coaching teams.
- Working within constraints and building product plans and business cases based on user needs.
- Realising benefits of new or updated products/services across an organisation.
- Influencing across an organisation.
