JOB TITLE: Recruitment Lead
REPORTING TO: Base Manager
LOCATION: Stansted Airport - Essex
CONTRACT: Permanent – Blue Handing
HOURS: 40 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity to work as the dedicated recruiter for Blue Handling who are the ground handling supplier for Ryanair ant Stansted Airport. Stansted is Ryanair’s largest base, with over 50 based aircraft and more than 200 daily departures serving an growing operation which is currently in excess of 21 million passengers a year.
Working closely with Ryanair, you will be responsible to deliver the expected high quality of candidates by incorporating an agile and professional hiring process and delivering an exceptional service for both the client and candidate resourcing experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with Ryanair to improve and support with the recruitment process of approved roles
- Ensuring that the client and candidate are always treaded as equal
- Ensuring job descriptions and adverts are fit for purpose in line with Ryanair requirements
- Screening candidates and managing all communications to enhance candidate engagement
- Supporting interviews as and when required
- Advising on any changes for improvement and supporting the assessment process
- Create a long-term recruitment plan based on forecast by working closely with the Planning Team for all future headcount requirements
- Identify appropriate job boards, advertising platforms, attend job fairs and drive other means of creative marketing
- Develop talent pools as part of and in line with the overall Talent Acquisition hiring strategy
- Carry out analysis trends on hiring trends and leavers using market insights and internal data using a tracking system
- Support any other requirements as requested by the client
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment, ideally externally or as an in-house recruiter
- Excellent communication and able to influence at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Great organisational skills with excellent time management
- Able to think “outside of the box” and solution orientated
- High attention to detail with the ability to analyse data
- Excellent written and spoken English language
ESSENTIAL:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferable)
Successful candidates will be required to complete a full 5-vear background check in order to obtain an airport ID.
