The Role
- Providing up-to-date and accurate company accounts and tax returns.
- Engaging with self-employed and limited company clients.
- Managing day-to-day queries from clients relating to cash flow, tax advice (company and personal), VAT, PAYE, CIS and accounts treatment.
- Provide accounting support to our portfolio of clients via email and telephone.
- Assist with self-assessment tax returns.
- Preparing statutory accounts including tax computations for year-end and cessation accounts.
- Communicating with HMRC regarding our client's business and personal tax.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role dealing with client accounts.
- Qualified through professional bodies (e.g. AAT, ACCA) or via direct experience.
- Strong Excel skills including V Lookups and Pivot Tables
- Familiarity with accounting software (Free Agent is desirable)
The Package
- Basic salary up to £38,000.
