Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Early Learning: As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will assist in implementing a diverse range of engaging activities that promote early learning and development.
- Providing Care and Assistance: Your role as a Teaching Assistant in the Nursery involves offering support in meeting the personal needs of nursery children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaborating with Nursery Staff: Work closely with the nursery team as a valuable Teaching Assistant, contributing to the planning and delivery of activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observing and Reporting: As a Teaching Assistant in the Nursery Setting, monitor and record children's progress and behavior, providing valuable feedback to contribute to their overall development.
- Promoting Positive Relationships: Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues as a nurturing Teaching Assistant in the Nursery, fostering a positive and inclusive nursery community.
- A passion for working with young children.
- Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated nursery team.
