Your new role and responsibilities: Supporting children in small group interventions and on a 1:1 basis. Encourage pupils to stay motivated and on track during their lessons. You will be required to support in classes, assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and dealing with behavioural issues. Creating a safe and positive learning environment where pupils feel valued and respected. Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the individual needs and interests of pupils.

Experience/ Qualifications: Previous classroom experience in a similar role. A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or social care (desirable but not essential). TEAMTEACH trained (desirable but not essential). Calm, patient and resilient approach. The ability to facilitate a safe and positive learning environment and de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour. Positive attitude. Team player.
