Lecturer In Applied Digital Technology

Location: Milton Keynes/Cranfield We are inviting applications from passionate, motivated people to join the MK:U education team, working on our fast-growing Degree Apprenticeship courses in data and digital, particularly our hugely successful Digital and Technology Solutions course. About the role Digital technology is exciting and fast-growing areas of MK:U’s education. This role is an opportunity to join the team at an early stage and to help us shape the future of education in this field. The successful applicant will divide their time between developing and delivering modules on MK:U courses using our distinctive Problem-Based Learning approach (we’ll provide training for you) and supporting Course Leads in the management of our digital and data apprenticeships, including the Digital and Technology Solutions course. We welcome enquiries about part time working including from those wanting to combine a part-time consulting career with an opportunity to help develop the next generation of digital skills. About you We are seeking people to join the team who are as a passionate as we are about applying Digital Technology in the workplace and who believe, as we do, that we need a lot more people who can bring these skills to the workplace. These technologies are developing so rapidly that we need new streams of talent. As educators, our job is to make Digital Technology exciting to study as well as making sure it’s relevant and applicable to the jobs of today and of the future. You will, most likely, have undergraduate education experience in a subject matter related to Digital and/or Technology Solutions. Alternatively, you may have postgraduate education experience with evidence of educational innovation. You will have an advanced degree in your subject area (Masters or above).
