Lettings Negotiator

A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Lettings Negotiator to join their team. This is a full-time office based position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying between 25,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Lettings Negotiator role will include but are not limited to:
Arranging and conducting viewings.Liaising between landlord and applicant.Dealing with lettings paperwork.Negotiating and issuing renewals documents and change of occupancy.Conducting check-in and check-out appointments.Handling deductions and returns of tenancy deposits.Liaising with contractors.Ensuring GSI, PAT, legionnaires, smoke alarm and electrical testing is carried out.Replying to emails and keeping databases up to date.Keeping updated of legal changes and adapting terms of business, legal forms and tenancy agreements.Issuing rent statements to clients.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
Experience within the property and housing industry.Experience of both property management and lettings agency/negotiationHighly motivatedKnowledge of letting regulations including landlord and tenant law.Excellent communication skillsMust have a full drivers license
