Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Public Sector Organisation based in East Midlands in the search for an experienced Locum Principal Commercial Lawyer.
This is a full-time position which offers the opportunity to work within a forward-thinking Public Sector Organisation and be the main point of contact for the Contracts and Procurement Team.
Duties shall include:
- Providing legal advice and services to client organisations in the areas of contract/procurement and other corporate or constitutional matters
- Acting as a source of legal advice and support to any of the client Councils’ Committees and Directorates as directed to cover the absence of colleagues
- Leading, directing, developing, and improving the service to client organisations, in the areas of property to ensure the provision an excellent standard of client care and value for money
- Liaising with Heads of Service to ensure that the legal service provided to them meets their needs and is focusing on delivering high quality legal services, customer care and service improvements
- Developing effective partnerships, networks, and joint working arrangements to ensure the most effective provision of Legal Services to meet the needs and aspirations of clients
