Role:
- Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams you will lead a frenetic department made up of 20 drivers delivering to 400 customers a day, 2000 a week.
- You will be focussed on ensuring the logistics and transport team is successful / achieves its targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- You will lead improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will identify issues negatively affecting performance and implement corrective action plans to resolve.
- This is a leadership role, requiring engagement and coaching to improve performance.
Skills / experience required:
- You must have some record of achievement in a logistics and transportation environment.
- You will have the motivation and ambition to continue to achieve and progress.
- You will be a leader who inspires those around you and encourages excellence.
- High volume / fast paced operations experience is preferable.
- Customer experience is preferable.
Remuneration:
45,000 - 55,000
