Maintenance Manager – Social Housing | Cheshire & Merseyside | £41,000 - £45,000 | Perm | Hybrid
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a regional housing association with excellent reputation for culture, who are looking to recruit a permanent Maintenance Manager covering Day-to-Day Repairs.
A strong background in social housing repairs and maintenance is essential, along with experience of leading teams.
This role offers a hybrid working policy; with genuine flexible working including flexi-time.
Role:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Maintenance Operatives through regular performance management, providing direction and vision for the department
- Manage costs in line with budgets to ensure no overspend
- Plan and deliver a range of projects and tasks ensuring that the appropriate resources are sourced and managed
- Carry out a percentage of pre/post inspection of subcontractor work checking corresponding invoices for accuracy of work completed
- Work with and feed back to the customer services team to ensure that inspections are appropriate and necessary
- Identify and source, oversee and manage specific materials, plant, PPE and equipment required

Individual:
- Proven management of works in repairs & maintenance, construction including planning and management
- Excellent knowledge of the construction industry best practices
- SMSTS certified with a good understanding of HHSRS
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulation in Health & Safety CDM regulations
- Ability to analyse and monitor information/data producing quality reports and forecasting up to Director level
- Evidence of an extensive range of problem solving, influencing, presentation, and networking skills
