Management Account
Summary
Errigal a market leading construction company; with specialist expertise in partition systems, external façade, interior fitout, ceilings and bespoke solutions are seeking a Management Account.
This role will have responsibility of carrying out Management Accounting processes within the Finance Department.
Principal Duties & Key Deliverables
- Preparation of monthly management reporting pack to Finance Manager/Director.
- Month End close – Journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations.
- Liaise with Finance Manager in reviewing month end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Development of budgetary processes and formal annual budgets with monthly budget reporting report on variances.
- Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
- Ensuring all VAT/Statutory returns and payments are prepared in line with requirements.
- Build Relationships with key stakeholders across the business to develop business acumen, commercial awareness and to act as a strategic business partner.
- Treasury – Cash Management, posting transactions, reconciliations, payment runs.
- Monthly variance analysis enabling senior management to understand and interpret data to facilitate continuous improvement.
Experience Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with proven post qualification experience.
- Proven experience with Management Accounts and monthly reporting cycle.
- Highly numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail
- Diligent and able to work efficiently with attention to detail, within required timescales.
- Experience in the Construction Industry an advantage.
