Management Accountant, Southampton

Our client, who is a forward thinking, rapidly growing and successful family of care companies delivering specialist support and education to children and young people is looking to take on a Management Accountant.
Key Duties:
Oversee the Invoicing to all local authorities, NHS and Private Clients ensuring the reconciliations are completed.
Ensuring accurate recording of income and payroll accruals is performed.
Processing month end journals as required
Maintain the bank account and ensure the reconciliation is done on a timely basis
Assist with reviewing the overhead expenditure for each business units
Assist with the preparation for the annual statutory audit
Approve payments/income collections through PTX and NatWest when the Head of Finance is not available
Assist the credit control function with collection of debts as time allows
NB: This list is not exhaustive. The post holder will from time to time be expected to undertake other duties which will be allocated with due regard to the individuals' skills, experience and ability and in agreement with the Head of Finance.
Essential for the role:
- Minimum of AAT Level 3 qualification or part qualified for CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Team player
- Prior knowledge of people soft is advantage
- Can-do attitude
- Attention to detail required
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Full UK driving license
