Management Accountant

Location: London (Kings Cross) / Sheffield
Hybrid Working: 3 days a week in London, 2 days a month in Sheffield (European HQ)
Reporting to: Finance Controller

Role Overview:

We are partnering with a fast growing industrial machinery manufacturing and rail technologies company in their search for a Management Accountant/Project Accountant. You'll oversee crucial financial processes, including monthly reporting, project analysis, and preparation for audits and forecasts, contributing to the financial integrity and success of our rail sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management reporting to tight deadlines
• Calculation and analysis of % to complete on projects, margin and cost calculations, variance analysis, and reviewing & reporting on project performance. This includes the review of CVR (cost value recognition documents) to challenge and verify the sector reports;
• Assistance in corporate reporting for our US parent company;
• Preparation for statutory reporting, tax returns, and audits in the UK/US
• Ownership of sector forecast documents and presentation

About you:

• ACCA/CIMA Qualified or QBE with 10+ years in Management Accounts
• Experience with percentage complete revenue recognition;
• You will have a solid background in project accounting, or management accounting within construction or similar industry;
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
