CPL are delighted to continue our partnership with a globally recognised FMCG company as we seek to recruit a full time, permanent Management Accountant to replace an internal promotion to Financial Controller.

Roles & responsibilities;
· Prepare monthly management accounts within set deadlines, including a comprehensive review of the monthly balance sheet and completion of the monthly accounts pack.
· Deliver a concise summary of monthly financial performance at the monthly site review.
· Assist in preparing weekly accounts, conducting detailed variance analyses against the budget, and reconciling weekly accounts to monthly accounts.
· Offer proactive and dedicated financial support to specific departments as directed by site management.
· Compile and present the site's monthly Standard Cost report to the Senior Management Team (SMT) during site reviews.
· Collaborate with Department Managers to facilitate budgetary control and ensure financial goals are met.
· Build positive relationships with other departments & Site Management, establishing two way communication and accurate provision of information to support the efficient running and continuous improvement of the site.
· Provide financial and operational support for designated Capital projects in accordance with Management requirements.
· Contribute to the preparation of the overall site annual budget under the guidance of the Financial Controller.
· Deputise for Financial Controller as and when required.
Essential criteria;
· A minimum of 2 years experience in an operational accounting role.
· Fully Qualified Accountant – (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
· Must be IT proficient and competent in use of Excel Spreadsheets
· Able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of financial management systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical, organisation and planning skills with ability to prioritise effectively
