Due to internal promotion, Reed is partnered with one of NI's most reputable employers, in the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis.

The key focus of this role is to provide effective business partnering with key stakeholders across the site, analysing operational and business data, and supporting the strategic and operational decision-making process.

Key objectives:

• To build positive relationships with other departments, developing these relationships to assist with delivery of accurate information and results to the business, and provide support to the success of teams across the site.
• To provide proactive dedicated financial support to nominated departments
• To develop and maintain strong relationships with all functions and departments

Financial:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts to set deadlines, including detailed monthly balance sheet review and completion of the monthly accounts pack
• Capex reconcile monthly capital expenditure by project
• Preparation of site monthly Standard Cost report and present to SMT
• Presentation of monthly financial performance summary
• Provide support in the preparation of the weekly accounts including detailed variance analysis versus budget
• Provide support to site management team with the preparation and interpretation of financial & non-financial data as and when required
• Assist Department Managers with budgetary control
• Capital Projects Provide financial & operational support to dedicated Capital projects as required by Management
• Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of the overall site annual budget
• Monitor all costs and recommend where possible savings may be made, including financial evaluation, and reporting to progress the company cost-reduction & profit improvement plans
• Deputise for Financial Controller as and when required
• Perform any other reasonable duties which may be necessary for the efficient running of the business.

Criteria:

• Our client is welcoming applications from part-qualified (active members) or fully qualified Accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• You must be IT literate with advanced MS Excel experience, and preferably offer previous experience using SAP (desirable)
• You will demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable but not essential
