Are you a talented and motivated, newly/nearly qualified accountant with a passion for contributing to the success of a rapidly growing hospitality organisation? Sheridan Maine is currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our client in a temporary capacity as a Management Accountant.
Your responsibilities as Management Accountant will include:
Support the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including posting prepayments and accruals across multiple P&L lines.
Preparing and posting journals, ensuring information is accurate and timely.
Multiple balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances are fully substantiated.
Oversee the reporting of retrospective discounts, creating invoices, and reconciling the account.
Supervise and support junior members of the finance team where required.
Assist with the calculation and authorisation of site bonuses.
Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and contribute financial insights to support decision-making. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
To be considered for the position of Management Accountant, you will require:
Nearly or newly qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) and industry trained.
Multi-site experience, ideally in hospitality or retail.
Excellent communication skills with experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Good Technical Knowledge, great eye for detail and be able to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial information.
