THE OPPORTUNITY
The firm continues to grow and seeks to appoint an ACA / ACCA Qualified (or QBE) Accountant into a Manager position leading a client portfolio and overseeing a small team.
As Accounts Advisory Manager your duties and responsibilities will involve:
- Managing a portfolio of SME, Owner Managed and Corporate business clients, typically c.£200k - £10m t/o;
- Preparing monthly / quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts accurately, in accordance with standards, within budget and to deadlines;
- Planning work and delegating to team members, providing guidance, mentoring and training;
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns ensuring accuracy and that all relevant tax is applied;
- Liaising regularly with clients regarding the preparation of their accounts and management information, answering any relevant queries;
- Meeting existing, new and prospective clients, building trust and strong working relationships
- Maintaining high standards of work quality, accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts / tax / bookkeeping;

THE PERSON
You will be an accounts professional able to demonstrate the following:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified or QBE
- Experience within Accountancy Practice - minimum c.5 - 7 years
- Strong relationship skills, able to work with clients from all sectors
- Broad experience of Accounts / Management Accounts, Tax Computations and able to provide business advice to clients
- IT literate - familiar with Accounts Production software and bookkeeping systems such as Xero and Sage 50
