About this role

We’re looking for a creative, media savvy and results-focused marketer to join Capital One’s UK Brand Marketing Team.

We are passionate about the credit card products we offer and want to reach as many new customers as possible. This is where you come in.

This role is key to making things happen in order to bring Capital One’s brand promise to life; working with award-winning agency partners and internal teams alike to deliver on our brand strategy, from compelling communications campaigns to targeted and efficient paid media planning.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager with coaching from our PR & Content Lead and Brand Manager, we’re looking for a creative yet analytically-minded associate to help us to grow the Capital One brand in the UK.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Brand Manager in planning and executing our Brand creative and media strategy, reporting on results and making recommendations and optimisations grounded in insight

  • Support PR & Content Lead in planning, developing, implementing and reporting on Brand PR campaigns - these can range from meticulously planned 360 consumer campaigns, through to tactical reactive media statements that may be turned around in a matter of hours

  • Be part of a collaborative team, focused on consistently delivering new initiatives to the market through a test and learn approach

  • Work with leading, award-winning creative,media and PR agencies, with support from our experienced in-house marketing team

  • Work collaboratively with the in-house Studio team on creative development, using insights to create compelling communications and creatively answer customer needs

  • Oversee the production of campaign materials ensuring communications remain on brand at all times

  • Report on marketing performance to demonstrate ROI and long-term brand growth, using data from brand health tracking and individual marketing channel performance

  • Collaborate with teams across the business, particularly with our business analyst partners, product managers and the design team

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position and is based in our Nottingham office.

Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.

We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
