Marketing Operations Manager
The HSBC Innovation Banking UK Marketing team is seeking to hire a Marketing Operations Manager to support a growing Marketing Operations function.
The Marketing Operations function is a growing team with a focus on enabling the wider Marketing team with an ambition of building a centre of excellence.
As a team we focus on several key areas including processes, reporting, MarTech, marketing automation and the public website.
This role will work closely with a range of stakeholders, within Marketing, stakeholders within HSBC Innovation Banking as well as stakeholders and counterparts within the wider HSBC group.
We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about problem solving, data driven and want to get things done the right way. You’ll be interested in technology and unlocking functionality and sharing your knowledge to empower others.
This role will present the right candidate with plenty of opportunities to develop, learn new skills and grow with a new team.
In this role, the Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Contribute to regular reporting across the Marketing function.
- Define and build project plans.
- Build and execute emails/campaigns within Eloqua.
- Proactively suggest recommendations for future improvements based on data/ insights.
- Support the development of the MarTech stack including the development of best practice.
- Support the creation of process development and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders.
- Overseeing marketing automation platform (Eloqua)
- Support on strategic initiatives such as the development of new websites
Successful candidates should have:
- 5+ years’ experience in Marketing
- Quick learner who is a self-starter, motivated to not only come up with new creative ideas but also able to quickly execute to drive impact
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, execution-oriented, ‘scale-up’ environment
- Project management and organisation skills to effectively work on multiple, concurrent, initiatives
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to work across a wide set of stakeholders to both understand and influence.
- Strong work ethic with passion for delivery and ability to ‘get things done’.
- Driven, hardworking, flexible, resilient, and collaborative team player
- Experience / interest in MarTech
- Experience with Eloqua
Nice to have:
- Experience with Monday.com or Asana
- Project Management qualification
- Experience of managing website development projects
- Experience in analytics and reporting platforms such as Heap
- Experience in PowerPoint, Canva, Slido
