As the Medical Secretary Lead, you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with their esteemed team of consultant psychiatrists. This pivotal role involves not only providing vital support to our consultants but also overseeing and managing the team of medical secretaries.

Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their medical administration department. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Line Management Supervision: Lead and guide the team of medical secretaries to success.

2. Rota Management: Ensure efficient scheduling to guarantee coverage for all shifts, including handling absences due to sickness or annual leave.

3. Recruitment and CPD Support: Assist in recruiting top talent and providing continuous professional development opportunities for the staff.

4. Patient Pathway Management: Streamline the process from initial enquiry to admission, minimizing delays and ensuring prompt treatment for our patients.

5. SARs Process Oversight: Effectively manage Subject Access Requests by coordinating tasks within the team.
