We are based in Heckington (Sleaford) Bromborough (Formally Sun Valley Ltd) and Hull and we are part of the Zertus UK & Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit partnered with other food manufacturers across the country.
We are looking for a Lead Mixing Operative to ensure the smooth running of the mixing area to service the packing lines. Ensure Work Order allocation and recipes are adhered too and to allocate task to team members.
Hourly Pay: £11.90
Hours: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00
Breaks: 2 x 20 minute paid breaks
Responsibilities: - Providing leadership to staff and helping them to achieve their targets.
- Ensure the packing line is serviced efficiently and running smoothly.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Assign tasks to team members including who is on the line, what products they will be on and the recording of products onto paperwork.
- Train team members to a competent level.
- Ensure work order allocation and recipes are adhered too.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately including data information, pallet numbers, cleaning records, tool box checks and stock takes.
- Maintain clean as you go policy.
- Ensure team are trained against key competencies in Food Safety, Allergen awareness, H&S.
- Report any issues and concerns to the Shift Manager and the Technical department.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading teams.
- Computer skills
- Good written and verbal English.
- Food Safety Level 2
- Positive attitude
- Counterbalance Licence (Preferable)
- Reach Truck Licence (Preferable)
