Role Purpose
The post is based within the Duns Social Work Office
Business Support provide support to the Social Work staff within the Duns Social Work office.
As a Modern Apprentice within the Duns Social Work Office, your duties will include:
• Telephone Answering
• Letter typing and distribution
• Minute taking and distribution
• Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages
• Processing Police Concern Forms
• Scanning and filing
• Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals
• Monitoring of Team mailboxes
• Completing Mosaic Incoming Work
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
Essential
In accordance with Scottish Borders Council priorities, you will need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship) to qualify for this position.
