Our client is a UK Top 40 insurance law firm who are currently recruiting a Technical Manager for their Motor Volume team. The firm offers great progression opportunities, hybrid flexibility and a competitive salary.
Your new role
This Technical Manager role will see you being responsible for leading all areas of technical performance. Reporting into the unit director, you will be required to provide training, development, and support to the Motor Volume team to drive engagement and ensure technical improvement. You will have regular client contact as you provide the client account managers with technical, market and analytical support. The successful applicant will be required to identify technical skills and gaps in knowledge across the team and implement changes to improve performance. Performance will be monitored against client and internal KPIs. You will be required to manage the audit function of the unit, ensuring resources are effectivley deployed.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be technically competent in personal injury claims having handled your own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated personal injury cases of a minimum value of £25,000. Knowledge of the MOJ and OICP claims handling process is essential. Previous experience of operational and supervisory experience in a personal injury environment is also essential.
