My client is a market-leader in supply of Non-Mechanical equipment to industries such as Construction & Events, Civil Engineering & Utilities, and they seek an Office Administrator to join their friendly team near Bedford.
They are a dynamic and quickly growing business and looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join their growing team on a full-time basis.
As with all administrative roles, it is a varied and reactive role, this would include but not limited to the following;
- Monitoring of the busy team inboxes and responding to customers and suppliers accordingly;
- Creation of Sales orders to customers and subsequent Purchase Orders;
- Communication of the above and booking of transport;
- Collation of proof of deliveries from various transport companies;
- Monitoring of incoming invoices and adding them onto the accounts system;
- Managing the stock for the group; liaising with management to ensure correct levels and re-order where necessary;
- Month end stock reports for management reporting;
- Month end commission reports for Sales team to be included for payroll;
- Credit control for the group;
- Monitoring of new account application forms, requesting credit limits
Therefore, in order to achieve the above, personnel requirements for the role would be;
- Previous administration experience, ideally someone who has had experience within an accounts or sales office, fully conversant with all MS office packages, in particular excel and CRM experience;
- ability to work accurately with good attention to detail, being a self-motivated individual and working on your own initiative, whilst being proactive and ability to problem solve.
- Good communicating skills, both verbal and written and must be a team player. Full training will be provided, however if you have experience on the Kerridge K8 or InspHire system this would be advantageous.
- Given location, you must hold a current driving licence with your own transport.
Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000 per year DOE, company pension, company medical insurance and bonus
