The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Visitor Support Officer to join us on a part-time basis, working 21.6 hours per week for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role
As a Visitor Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to visitors by responding to phone calls and email and staffing the reception desk at our headquarters in Hyde Park.
Triaging and responding to visitor support queries, you’ll record relevant information and investigate and respond to complaints, escalating where necessary to support a speedy resolution.
You will also operate the reception desk at our HQ building, dealing face-to-face with external and internal visitors and performing building administrative tasks.
Additionally, you’ll ensure our CRM system is updated with visitor correspondence.
About You
To be considered as a Visitor Support Officer, you will need:
- Experience of working in a customer-facing and/or service environment
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
