We are actively recruiting for an Office Manager to join a Leighton Buzzard based business. The company are well established, a market leader in their field, and supply their products nationwide. Please note, this position is FULLY office based, and does not offer hybrid or remote working.
Working Hours:
09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
09:00am - 14:00pm on Fridays.
Duties:
- To oversee the day-to-day management of the office, including the sales administration team.
- Supporting the directors and senior managers with compliance, HR and auditing.
- Handling and supporting with client relationships, and account management.
- Assisting with sales order processing.
- Management of third-parties including: Suppliers & Contractors.
- Renewing and negotiating terms, including leases etc.
- Supporting with employee inductions and staff appraisals.
- Assisting and supporting the accounts & finance team with: Credit control, banking, purchase/sales ledger and invoicing duties.
- Handling complaints, and seeing these through to resolution.
Skills Required:
- MUST have previously managed a team, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Previous knowledge of sales order processing.
- Experience of accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of the engineering industry would be preferred, however, not essential.
