Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Clydebank, is currently looking to recruit a Security Office Manager for an initial 2 month contract - with potential to extend on a rate of £15.44/hour PAYE (Inside IR35). This role will be full time on-site, 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to a small team and be responsible for the day-to-day operational needs of the Security Service.
Essential Skills:
- Highly experienced Office Manager/coordinator
- Maintain effective communication with team, management, internal and external customers
- Self –starter who can quickly understand the mechanics of the role/department
- Conflict and complaint management skills
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders and/or multi-disciplinary
- Experience of managing own work area and workload
- Admin experience inc. rota management / payroll queries / purchase orders
- Competent IT skills
- Approachable
- Ability to seek solutions should difficulties occur or where opportunities arise
- A flexible, can-do approach
- A desire to drive quality and improve service standards
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in healthcare
- Experience in safety and/or security
- Experience of HR policy
