About the Opportunity:
Owing to expansion within Jacobs Government Solutions, particularly in Bristol and at other MOD sites, we are currently recruiting for people with Equipment Support experience to join our growing Operational Delivery functional team.
Working primarily in the defence sector with staff from the MOD procurement and support organisations, equipment designers and manufacturers in industry, and directly with the armed forces, you will be influencing and contributing to the maintaining the availability of equipment and systems. Our people can operate as an integral part of a client delivery team, either based on-site or remotely, or they will form part of an internal team focused on delivering a specific output.
We are looking across all ranges of experience for curious and adaptable team members responsible for the delivery and coordination of logistic, engineering and commercial outputs, providing the key connection between customers and the supply network.
We are seeking individuals across all levels who have a passion to work with our clients to improve the effectiveness of their existing processes and to ensure delivery of the highest levels of support through life.
The roles can be high profile, demanding a thorough understanding of the supportability and logistic fundamentals that underpin the demanding defence environment, so our competency-based Career Development Framework underpins the learning and development opportunities we offer to support our people and help them progress within the In-service Support Management Team and across Jacobs.
We are dedicated to assisting the client in the successful delivery of their complex projects to time, cost and quality combined with our Jacobs commitment to safety.

Here's What You'll Need:
  • An understanding of the Upkeep, Update and Upgrade cycle of activities needed to support equipment in service at the levels required by the customer;
  • Knowledge gained from experience across any of the following:
    - Project Management
    - Supply Chain Management
    - Involvement in the delivery of ILS activities
    - Operations Management
    - Procurement
    - Contract and Performance management
    - Stakeholder engagement
    - Defence logistics
    - Asset Management
    - Optimising service availability and improving support performance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
