Job Description
- Coordinate purchasing activities and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and monitor delivery times.
- Contribute to the development of purchasing strategies.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and resolve any supply chain issues that may arise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations related to procurement.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and costs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operational Purchasing Assistant should have:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of supply chain and procurement principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with database management.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
