SalaryWe are actively recruiting for an Operations Manager with Social Housing experience for a Facilities Management and Building Solutions provider delivering cost-effective and sustainable bespoke solutions to customers in the public and private sectors. They provide fit out and facilities management services across a wide range of sectors nationally with a turnover of £1 billion per annum.
The successful Operations Manager will be required to oversee retrofit projects for Social Housing contracts within the Midlands.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure that all works, including those of suppliers and subcontractors, are supervised and coordinated to deliver on safety, quality, program, and environmental objectives.
- Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation, VINCI HS&E Policies, procedures & Minimum Safety Standards, and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans.
- Manage subcontractors, service providers & operatives to construct the works safely.
- Review, produce & monitor Task Control Sheets & method statements for all works.
- Ensure site inductions are carried out.
- Puts safety first and instils this in subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure that works are coordinated to ensure suitable safe access and segregation is maintained.
- Ensures that suitable welfare is in place and maintained.
- Make efficient use of standard IT packages to efficiently manage own time.
- Use specialist software to assist in contract delivery, for example, VNexus, CAD, 4Contracts, COINS, etc.
- Understand contract objectives and communicate to site teams.
The successful Operations Manager will be required to hold the below qualifications / have experience in:
- Social Housing experience (Essential)
- Construction Management Qualification
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Temporary Works
- Fire Management
