Part-Time Accounts Assistant (20-25 hrs)
This global market leader is now looking to add someone to their established finance team on a part-time basis.
Are you someone who has experience in assisting a company accountant? Can you deal with a flexible workload?

Job Role – Assist with the following;
· Production of monthly management accounts for the different businesses to extremely tight deadlines, using SAP
· Collation of subsidiary company accounts (UK and Ireland) and submission to group head office ensuring integrity and completeness of the data
· Reconciliation of management accounts to general ledger, managing accruals and prepayments · Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, bad debt provisions
· Cost accounting, stock control, stock provisions
· Company insurances, payroll, pension and related matters
· To support each business in all matters financial, legal, property and company secretarial
· To support calendar requirements and deadlines
· Companies house accounting filing dates and reporting requirements are met
· Audit requirements, production and filing of statutory accounts
· Pension scheme administration
· Adhoc financial duties as required
The Successful Applicant
· PQ accountant
· Manufacturing business background preferred
· Ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs
· Relevant experience of core accounting tasks and principles gained from working in a similar role
· Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse and interpret data, and a resolve accounting issues
· A strong understanding of key balance sheet account reconciliations with an attention to detail
· Enthusiasm, diligence, an ability to learn quickly and a drive to complete work to an excellent standard
· Strong IT skills using Microsoft office applications. Confident working with excel based accounting spreadsheets.
· SAP system Strong financial systems experience
