Part-Time Bookkeeper - Arts

We're working with an Arts organisation, looking for a part-time Bookkeeper on a temporary basis. Situated in their London-based office space for 3 days a week, the group promotes a creative and autonomous working environment; the ideal candidate would therefore be confident in producing monthly reports and maintaining financial records independently.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero
• Generating precise financial statements and reports for managerial evaluation
• Conducting bank reconciliations
• Overseeing accounts payable/receivable processes in Xero
• Filing VAT returns
• Preparing budgets
• Reporting on debtors and creditors
• Assisting with administrative and data entry duties

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping environment
• Fantastic knowledge and experience of Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Experience working in an SME or creative working environment
• Studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA is also preferred
