Part Time Financial Controller

We are proud to be working alongside our superb Client who are one of the leading suppliers of green infrastructure systems in the UK and beyond, offering design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance services for these sustainable building features.

Due to a period of growth our client has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to join their management team as a part-time Financial Controller.

This role will have oversight of a small accounts team and duties will include:

· Production of management accounts in a timely fashion

· Assisting departmental managers with budget setting and production

· Cashflow management and forecasting

· Cost analysis

· Project profitability and WIP review

· VAT and CIS returns

· Working closely with Directors and looking at ways to improve systems and processes as appropriate

· Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external accountants for any queries

· Ad hoc project work and analysis

Working circa 25 hours per week, this role will suit a post-qualified Accountant with strong experience of an all round finance role within an SME environment.

· Strong experience of Excel is a prerequisite and exposure to Xero would be a distinct advantage.

· Experience of having worked in an environment with exposure to construction contracts and project accounting would be advantageous as would exposure to the horticulture sector, although this is not essential.

This will be a site-based role near Chichester and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a business that has a history of staff retention and an excellent product.
