Due to continuous growth and securing a number of large-scale/long-term Passive Fire contracts nationally our client seeks to appoint a Contracts Manager experienced in various sectors including social housing, local authority, education, healthcare, and commercial. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to play an integral part in the team, driving both business and personal career growth to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

• Oversee all aspects of multiple projects and contracts from survey to handover.
• Plan, organise, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and with zero defects, prioritising customer satisfaction.
• Assist in design, lead procurement, surveying, oversee installations, and commissioning processes.
• Manage quality inspections and residents' engagement sessions.
• Plan project workflows to ensure timely completion.

Finance:

• Liaise with the Company's finance department for timely invoicing and payment applications.
• Assist in finalising all accounts.
• Complete project valuation and 'cost to complete' reports.
• Manage project budgets and P&L through SAGE.

Customer Liaison:

• Maintain strong professional relationships with client representatives.
• Attend and contribute to client and internal meetings throughout project phases.

Management of Resources:

• Provide leadership and technical advice to Passive Fire operatives.
• Manage directly employed engineers and subcontractors.
• Oversee Health and Safety, site engineering staff, and compliance software.

Information:

• Organise and collate paperwork, including working drawings and handover packs.
• Understand main and sub-contract documents thoroughly.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in managing large-scale Passive Fire protection projects.
• Flexible self-starter with strong leadership skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• PC literate and commercially aware.

Essential Requirements:

• Passive Fire Protection Project Management/Supervision experience.
• FIRAS Card Holder (Supervisor Level).
• Current industry knowledge and networking.
• Good knowledge of trade products and solutions.
• NVQ in Passive Fire or IFE Level 2 - Passive Fire.
• SMSTS qualified/CSCS Card.
• Full UK driving license.
