The Ox Barn
The Ox Barn, a nineteenth-century former oxen house is now our magnificent restaurant, set in the heart of Thyme, in the Cotswolds. Impressive and atmospheric, the Ox Barn is led by the seasons with fresh produce from our gardens and farm.
We are looking for a Pastry Chef to join the busy team to develop and support this exciting kitchen.
The Pastry Chef will work alongside the Sous Chef to create an amazing selection of cakes, ice creams and puddings for the main restaurant alongside all the other offerings for our guests. It is a great role for someone with pastry experience who wants to grow their talents in a state of the art kitchen within a leading hotel.
Skills
- Previous pastry experience in a similar environment; produce led kitchen with kitchen garden on site.
- Interested in seasonality and fresh produce
- organised, punctual and well presented
We are set in a rural location, so your own transport would be ideal. We can discuss accommodation/relocation if required.
