J ob title:Payroll Administrator
Location: Poole (remote working available but monthly travel to Newcastle office is required)
Pay rate: up to £19 per hour (DOE)
Duration: initially 6 months
Our reputable client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator with an understanding of diverse business needs across global cultures. This role demands a flexible approach, the ability to work under pressure and excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
Ideally, candidates will have previous payroll experience and a deep understanding of the employee life cycle, HR Administration, and payroll processes. A flexible approach in all aspects of the role and the ability to take ownership and see things through to resolution is highly desirable.
Role and Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you'll be immersed in a shared service or bureau style environment, tasked with high-volume payroll processing under tight deadlines. You'll be handling all aspects of the employee life cycle, HR administration and payroll processes, with a focus on PAYE, NIC legislation and P11D. This position may require flexibility in terms of working hours and occasional travel.
Requirements
Experience of working within a Shared Service or Bureau style environment
Experience in HR procedures and supporting and/or implementing HR and/or Payroll related change
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility in terms of working hours and travel
Understanding of varying business needs across different global culture
