The Role
As aPayroll Manager, you will be responsible to ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, court orders, taxes, and other deductions.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations.
• Deploy best practices.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
• Work in collaboration with client organization, offshore team, and technology group to resolve any issues.
• Liaison with clients/employees for any payroll queries.
• Dealing with HMRC.
• Guide & mentor Off-shore team (in handling of Auto enrolment, pension processing, SSP/SSMP, Processing of P45/P46’s, P60’s, BACS payment processing etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge:  

• Experience in payroll with significant years in delivering payroll Service designs for large employee base.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
• Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
• Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Excellent Organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with payroll software, preferably hands-on with Oracle Cloud.
