About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which is based in our Oldham, Bower House office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style, working 2 days per week in the office and 3 from home. As such, it is a requirement for candidates to be able to work 2 days per week from our Oldham office.
The overall purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery on a day to day basis of payroll, benefits and pensions activities within agreed service standards and against approved processes.

You’ll be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Experience of leading a team in a large and complex organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of pension regulations and legislation, including Auto Enrolment requirements.
- Excellent communication Skills, both written and oral.
- Proven excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- CIPP
- 3 Years experience at Supervisory / Managerial level.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification and/or appropriate experience.
